ASCUNS
Still here.
Some places are built for the end of the world. Concrete, sealed air, a stillness meant to outlast whatever is happening outside. Time slows down because it has to, and the body gets used to the walls and starts calling it safety.
ASCUNS is Romanian for hidden, the way a thing is once someone has put it away and left it there. It smells like a room where people have lived long enough for the fear to turn ordinary, like a sound you stop hearing because it never stops.
The place keeps you safe by closing you in, and it costs you your freedom. Nobody gets heroic down here. You get through it one day after another, stubborn and unglamorous.
That is all ASCUNS has to say. Still here.
