What makes necalli different?

Every necalli perfume is an Extrait de Parfum at 25% concentration, created in Bucharest and built around a story. We make scents for people who would rather feel free than fit in. We create slowly, in small numbers, and we follow our own compass rather than trends.

What does Extrait de Parfum at 25% mean?

It is the richest form a perfume can take. Where most fragrances are diluted to eau de parfum or eau de toilette, an extrait keeps a higher concentration of perfume oils, so the scent unfolds slowly, stays close to the skin and lingers far longer. A few drops are enough to carry a story through the day.

How do I choose the right perfume, for myself or as a gift?

Choosing a perfume is a little like choosing a book: the story has to speak to you. Each of our scents comes with its notes and the tale behind it, so you can follow the one that calls you. If you are still wandering, write to us. We love one-to-one conversations with our community and will gladly help you find your scent, or the right one for someone you love.

Can I try the perfumes before buying a full bottle?

Yes, and if you are unsure, we warmly recommend it. Our discovery set holds every necalli perfume in 3 ml bottles, so you can live with each story on your own skin before choosing the one that stays. And when you find it, the discovery set brings you a 10% discount on your full 50 ml bottle.

What sizes are available?

Each perfume comes in a single full size, a 50 ml bottle. The 3 ml sizes are available only as part of the discovery set.

Where should I wear my perfume?

We like to think of necalli as something you wear the way you wear a story: close, but not only on the skin. Spray it on your pulse points, at the wrists and neck, or on your scarf, collar or coat, or mist it through your hair, and it will linger, unfolding slowly as you move. Before spraying on delicate fabrics like silk or light colors, test a hidden spot first, as perfume oils can leave marks.

What is in the perfumes, and are they safe for sensitive skin?

Our perfumes contain no ingredients of animal origin and are not tested on animals. Like all fine fragrances, they contain natural aromatic compounds that some people may be sensitive to; the full list is on each box and on our Safety and Allergy page. If your skin is sensitive, try a drop on the inside of your wrist first.

How should I store my perfume?

Treat it like a good secret: keep it away from sunlight, heat and humidity, ideally in its box or a cool drawer. The bathroom shelf is its least favorite place. Stored well, your perfume keeps its character for years.

Orders and shipping

Do you ship internationally, and what does it cost?

We ship across the world. Delivery is free within the European Union, and a flat 25 EUR shipping fee applies to orders outside the EU. For orders outside the EU, customs duties or taxes may be charged by your country and are paid by the recipient.

How long will my order take to arrive?

We prepare every order by hand and ship it within a maximum of five working days. From there, your parcel travels with trusted, market-standard courier partners. Delivery times depend on the destination and the courier, so they are beyond our control, but we always do our best to have your perfume reach you quickly and safely.

How can I track my order?

Once your parcel sets off, you will receive an email with its tracking number, so you can follow its journey on the courier's website.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Write to us as soon as possible and we will do everything we can. Once a parcel has left our hands, changes are no longer possible.

Returns

Can I return a perfume?

If a perfume is not the one, you can return it within 14 days of receiving it, as long as it is unopened and its seal is intact. Once a perfume has been opened, we cannot take it back, for hygiene reasons. This is exactly why we recommend starting with our discovery set: you meet every story before choosing, and you receive a discount on the full bottle you fall for. Return shipping is paid by you, and we refund your payment, including the original delivery cost, within 14 days of receiving the perfume back.

If your parcel arrives damaged or you receive the wrong perfume, write to us within 5 days with a photo and we will make it right, at our cost. You will find the full details in our Terms and Conditions.

Our approach

What is the bottle return program?

A necalli bottle is made to be kept, and also to come back. Return an empty bottle from a previous order and we will give you a 10% discount on your next one. Send it by post, bring it to a store, or both. Just reach out to us.
